I've been going to downtown vision care for many years despite living all across Canada and living abroad. Doctor Dame has always been very approachable and professional, as have their staff. No matter where I've lived, locally or overseas, I've never found an optometrist clinic as thorough, professional, or with as good customer service. Most importantly - and I can't stress this enough - he has always taken the time necessary to do the job right. I have never felt rushed out of the office, and he has never cut any corners when dealing with me. Of the many medical professionals I've seen in my life, there are only two I've ever met that I can say that about. I had developed quite a severe eye infection while in Vancouver. I visited a few clinics there, but none of them helped rid me of the problem long-term. I decided to see Dr. Dame while visiting family in Calgary.
